St George’s Day and Remembrance Sunday are the two annual national commemorative events that Scouts from all sections are asked to support. This years’ St George’s Day will be a joint occasion with both Fareham East and Fareham West Districts in attendance. Parents and Families are encouraged to join us and there will be seating in stands but you are welcome to bring blankets etc to sit on.
We have been assisted in this event by the Royal Navy, who have opened up HMS Sultan parade ground for the day. In addition we have the support of young sailors and service personnel to assist in the logistics of car parking and marshalling the parade.
There is ample parking for vehicles. Please enter site from Caledonian Gate where you will be directed to a parking space. All vehicles entering the site must have been declared on the permission forms, noting the make, colour and licence number.
Please let Akela know if you are dropping your child but do not intend to stay so that arrangements can be made to meet you.
