This is open to all Senior sixers, Sixers and Seconders only.
We have been invited to join the District for an evening of fun and sports. Cubs will receive an information letter and medical form which must be returned with payment the following week. This will outline the activities for the evening and any equipment that will be needed.
Permission Form: Bowling.
Venue: Go Bowling, Newgate Lane, Fareham
Date: Tuesday 2nd February
Time: 18:00 - 19:45 (Please note change of start time)
Cost: £2.50
We are going bowling on this date as we cannot be in the hall. The session starts slightly earlier than usual and finishes at 7.45 ish. The Cubs will be playing 2 games of bowling.
We are asking for a small contribution of £2.50 towards the cost of this evening, payable on the night cash only please.

We will be entering the District Competition with a team of 3 Cubs. Questions will be asked for 2 minutes in each of the 3 subjects - Scouting, Nature and General Knowledge. All answers must be given throught the team leader.

We will be having a Krypton Factor evening when the Cubs will be tested physically, mentally and logically. Cubs will be asked to collect sponsorship for the event based on their participation in all events.
Money collected will be given to the Toybox Charity, an international charity which supports orphanages in countries around the world. The Cubs will learn more about the Charity on 26th January.

Team: Ciaran Freeman, Joe Fry, Christian Curtis-McKinnon, Thomas Quint, Michael Lamb, Reece Nicholas and, back by popular demand, Ashley Lamb.
A super turn out today in the sunny but chilly weather. Our Cubs made us proud of their sportsmanship and perseverance as they battled against the other teams in the District.
We played 7 matches and we drew 2, won 1 and played our socks off in the others. A big well done to all involved and thanks for allowing me to go into school on Monday with my head held high!

All particpants will need appropriate clothing and footwear for the weather. A rucksac containing a drink, torch with spare batteries and waterproof clothing are essential.
