Questions will be asked for 2 minutes in each of the 3 subjects - Scouting, Nature and General Knowledge. All answers must be given throught the team leader. We wish them all the best!!

We had a super afternoon and the Cubs gave it their all. They discovered that knowing the answers when not in the spotlight, doesn't help once it's your turn! After a superb effort by all 3 team members, we finished 5th.

Families are more than welcome to stay but younger children will remain the parent's reponsibility. Please can children wear warm clothing and suitable footwear. They must wear their uniform under any warm clothing, especially their scarves. (This is a site rule and we have Investitures)

If your Cub is being invested then please can they bring their named scarf directly to me on arrival and I will make sure it stays clean for the ceremony! Photographs are allowed of the ceremony.

There is plenty of parking available. Get directions from google maps.

District 6-a-side Football Competition

Team: Frank, Ashley, Iwan, Max, Kieran, Edward, Aaron, Sam

If your child is interested then they need to return the form by half term. We will be entering a team of 8 children into the 6-a-side footie competition. The team will be decided late January, early February and more details posted then for venue, time etc. The cost for this will be £2 per child.

Please can those participating, wear sports kit and trainers. We are hoping to provide t-shirts for the team. As yet there has been no decision about the use of football boots. I will let you know before the day whether to bring them.

We have been asked to provide a referee for the event and I am hoping that someone with more knowledge about football than me will volunteer to represent us in this role. As I know next to nothing about the game it shouldn't be hard! If you fancy the job please let me know as soon as possible.

There will be plenty of space for supporters so even if your child is not invilved, if oyu are free that afternoon why not come to Stubbington and cheers on the Sarisbury Cubs!
