This is the first meeting of the new committee since the A.G.M. Any volunteers are always welcome as we will be planning the forthcoming fund raising events. Akela is also on the look out for parent Cubs representative to feed back to the committee about what the Cubs have been doing. If you are interested in attending or being the rep please email Akela.

Venue: Meet at Maritime Centre on Newtown Road, Collect from car park near Moody's boat yard
This evening counts as 1 hike and will go towards achieving the Adventure badge (only for older Cubs).
We thought it would be nice to take advantage of the lighter evenings to hike along the footpath beside the Solent. We will be meeting outside the Maritime Centre on Newtown Road and hiking down to the shore. Then we will follow the footpath past Strawberry Fields, the Rising Sun, the Hamble ferry and along to the car park on Swanwick Shore Road.
Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear for the weather and bring a rucksack with a filled water bottle in it. If the weather is appalling then we will meet at Burridge as usual. Akela will text on the day if the hike is cancelled.

A shorter session this evening as we meet Father John and tour the catholic church. Please wear full uniform.

Attendance at this event is compulsory for all Cubs. We require that Cubs attend 2 parades every year as part of their Promise that they make when invested.

Please note change to start time. Our final meeting of the year will be a Christmas Party. This year we will be having a traditional party games night with old favourites such as musical chairs!
We would like to include some time to eat together and would ask you to provide a filled lunchbag for your child, so that they can join in. We have opted for this because of food allergies. The leaders will provide drinks for the children.
There will be a post box for any cards the Cubs wish to send to each other.

You will be given a 90 minute slot to help pack bags at Sainsburys. You need to wear full uniform and come ready to work and smile lots!
